This Privacy Policy explains how LDX (“LDX”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit www.ldx.one (the “Website”) or contact us.

LDX is the controller of your personal data for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 2017 of Mauritius (the “DPA”). Our office is at 103, Ebene Junction Building, Ebene, Mauritius, and you can reach us at [email protected].

Information you give us. When you send an enquiry, request a demo, or contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to share, such as:

• your name, email address and phone number;
• your company and job title;
• the service you are interested in and the content of your message.

When you submit a form, your details are sent over an encrypted connection to our mail service, which forwards them to our team by email. The Website itself does not store your submission.

Information collected automatically. The Website is delivered through Cloudflare. Like most hosting providers, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information and the pages requested, in order to deliver the Website and protect it against abuse. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on the Website.

We use personal information to:

• respond to your enquiries and arrange demos, calls or meetings;
• prepare proposals and deliver the services you request;
• manage our relationship with clients, partners and training participants;
• keep the Website secure and working properly;
• comply with our legal, regulatory and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Under the DPA, we process personal data on one or more of the following grounds:

• Consent, when you choose to contact us or share your details;
• Contract, where processing is needed to take steps at your request before entering into, or to perform, an agreement with you;
• Legal obligation, where we must keep or disclose information by law;
• Legitimate interests, such as running and securing our business and Website, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.

The Website itself does not set marketing or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies for security and performance.

Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks signals from your browser and device to confirm that a real person is submitting the form and to block spam. This information is processed by Cloudflare under its own privacy policy.

Some features open or embed content from third parties, including Canva (course presentations), WhatsApp (chat) and Google Maps (directions). When you use these features, the provider may collect information and set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

We only share personal information where necessary, with:

• service providers who help us operate, such as our email, hosting and communication providers;
• our strategic partners, where needed to deliver a service you have asked for;
• professional advisers, such as auditors, accountants and lawyers;
• public authorities, regulators or courts, where required by law.

Anyone we share information with is expected to keep it confidential and secure, and to use it only for the purpose for which it was shared.

Some of our service providers and partners are located, or store data, outside Mauritius, including in South Africa. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we take steps to ensure it is protected in line with the DPA, for example by using providers with appropriate safeguards in place.

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are reviewed periodically and deleted when no longer needed.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our safeguards regularly.

Subject to the DPA, you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• ask us to delete your information, or restrict how we use it;
• object to our processing of your information;
• withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Office of Mauritius.

The Website and our services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has shared information with us, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Please also read our Terms of Service, which govern your use of the Website.
